The network app for the National Monument Congress 2024. The National Monument Congress is an annual conference intended for all parties active in the field of heritage management and the (re)development and repurposing of historic real estate in their landscape or urban context. Each edition focuses on a theme that is urgent and relevant to the heritage sector. This year's National Monument Congress will take place on November 7 in the Royal Theater in The Hague. The theme of this edition is 'Heritage connects?!'. Heritage builds a bridge between the past and present and is increasingly taking on a social function. Yet it is also regularly problematic due to the many different interests at play or due to the charged history that can be attached to heritage. How do we ensure that we streamline these interests and protect and highlight our heritage in the right way, so that it does not divide, but rather connects?
