NorthwestCell Visual Voicemail Description
NorthwestCell Visual Voicemail for Android allows NorthwestCell customers to manage voicemail from your android phone.
* Visually see who has left you a voicemail message
* Listen to your messages in any order that you choose
* Immediately respond to your voicemail messages by text, email, or calling back
* Play, call back, delete or save your voicemail messages
* Visual Voicemail requires the following permissions to function properly:
Photos, Media and Files – This allows the app to store your messages on your device. The app does not access any of your photos, media and files that is already there.
Record Audio – This allows you to record a new voicemail greeting.
Make and Manage Phone Calls – This allows you to place a return call to the sender of a voice mail. Standard call charges apply, according to your service plan.
Contacts – This allows the app to show contact information along with your voicemails. No contact data is sent anywhere. It is only used within the app.
SMS Permissions and Charges:
Send SMS – This allows the app to send an SMS to NorthwestCell at the following address: 9345. There is no charge for this SMS, although it counts against your plan limits. The SMS does not contain any of your personal data. Its purpose is to activate your client with the NorthwestCell voicemail server.
Receive and View SMS – This allows the app to receive a notification from NorthwestCell that you have received a voicemail. One SMS is sent for each new voicemail you receive. The SMS is not visible to you. It triggers the app to show the new message in your Visual Voicemail Inbox. There is no charge for this SMS, although it may count against your plan limits.
