OFC Pro-Senso Description
The sensory assessment of food is based on human sensory perception. Methods for carrying out sensory food assessments must be defined and results must be documented correctly and in a comprehensible manner.
The OFC Pro-Senso app, specially programmed by Oltmer Food Consulting GmbH, is used for digitized recording and evaluation of the results of sensory food tests. Easily inputting ratings and quickly evaluating sensory evaluations are important in the daily business of food companies, including in product development, quality assurance and quality control. The OFC Pro-Senso app makes it easy to carry out, for example, storage tests, MHD checks and incoming and outgoing goods inspections. Sensory effects from recipe changes, the exchange of raw materials or changes in the production process can be easily determined using our test methods and product comparisons can be carried out quickly. All test methods stored in the app are based on international standards and are always updated to reflect the latest scientific developments.
With the OFC Pro-Senso app, processed data is immediately available for discussion of results, presentation and documentation. It enables real-time data transfer via the OFC IT system and guarantees enormous time savings and error reduction by eliminating paper-based test sheets and result evaluations.
Test methods and tests can be programmed specifically at the customer's request and the app can be adapted according to individual requirements.
