Off Role Description
The Off Role - Officina Agrosociale project, funded by Gal Daunia Rurale 2020, was born from the desire to expand the social farming offer of companies in partnership: identify practices that combine agricultural activity and social activity.
The methodology can be defined as community work: a process that looks at the characteristics of the area and all the people who live there, through the activation of subjects who are part of an often disadvantaged community, identifying all the resources and skills that are necessary to address the problems inherent in multifunctional agriculture, with active social inclusion actions and the promotion of services and products that represent the local identity.
In a historical-social moment in which there is a strong need for cooperation, community, environmental, social and economic sustainability, the network through its activities develops an agriculture that promotes local identities through actions that combine tradition and innovation.
The recipients are people with disabilities, as well as from the world of children, young people and the elderly. This choice is due to the need for cognitive stimulation and caregiver.
The typical local products on which the valorisation actions will focus are: Vino Daunia IGP, La Peranzana, Torcinelli, bread and bakery products, relational workshops
