Comments about One Jotter - Journal & Diary Android Version

Well, after a long search for a note taking app that syncs with my Nextcloud and also has the capability of handwriting/drawing notes I finally found this. I don't like the way I have to browse my notes but ones one get used to it it works fine. Basically, there is no way to see ALL notes at once. Every single note category must be marked and then you have to scroll through a kind of a notification bar to read or edit the notes. But, as I said I can live with that. What I can't live with is the horrible implementation of the sync service. Yes, once a created note is saved and synced it can be found in your online storage. But beware, when you get a new phone, like I just did, none of your notes syncs back to your phone!!! I set up my cloud service and synced and synced and synced, ending up with an empty note app. So I had to manually backup everything from my old phone, copy that over to the new one, restore that backup and sync again. This is rididculous! And unacceptable! Too bad I spent $9 on this! In the end I suppose I'm lucky not to have lost any notes in the process! Guess I'll stick with Samsung Notes after all. Deleted!

Great app, one of the best out there for taking notes quickly! No intrusive ads for free users and I like the lifetime premium option. In the future, I hope to see tables, ability to hide images from note previews, changing the accent color for the dark mode theme (so instead of yellow, options of red, blue, etc.) and maybe collapsible lists. Some more contrast (like darker background colors) for the premium themes would be nice.

Good design but some issues. Major: 1. Unable to choose storage location for attachments. Bad for devices that have small internal storage, even though i have a 256gb external SD it will always save to the on-board storage - because of this i have to be careful of how many attachments i will store. 2. No auto indents. If you indented 3 times and started a new line, you will have to press the indent button three times again to go to the same indent level. Especially annoying when creating lists.
