OTG Checker & Details Description
OTG Checker & Details app makes it super easy for users to test whether their phone is compatible with USB OTG devices or not. OTG are devices that can be used on the USB port of your device via a suitable OTG USB cable (Both Type A & C supported). If your device is supported then you can check the hardware details of externally connected USB devices whether it's a USB Storage Stick, Printer, Scanner, or NFC Reader; we got you covered.
OTG Checker & Details does not change anything in your phone so there is no need to worry.
FUNCTIONALITIES
- Check the presence of the USB Manager
- check the presence of android.hardware.usb.host.xml
- Find the list of connected OTG USB devices
IF FOUND TO BE INCOMPATIBLE with OTG Checker & Details App:
It is not fatal. You can still make it work. Depending on the step that blocks in the test, you can look on the internet for your phone more specifically. But you may need to root your device. WE NEVER ENCOURAGE USERS TO ROOT THEIR DEVICES.
