I loved the original and this one adds some very useful and fun things that the original missed out on having, like ideology, flag changing, more realistic territories, more research, etc. The current version is very fundamental and incomplete, however I'm very excited to see it when it's more rounded out. As of 1-6-24 the updates have shown very unbalanced gameplay against the AI, I'm on easy and I lose every battle no matter what. I might be playing wrong though. 1914 especially is not great

I gotta say I loved the original for the few days I've been able to play it and Im genuinely excited to see where you take this new one. After playing for a bit I found the rail ways to be amazing and the faction customisation and placement to be working well. Though given the games early access status I found the saves to be a bit wonky, and the factions not being savable. Dispite this I will definitely buy the game when I get the chance. I'm excited to see where the diplomacy and upgrades go

A fun strategy game, but trade needs some tweaking. As it is now, i can just open up for trade with all other countries, and then i'll get super rich and overpowered right off the bat. It almost feels like cheating since it makes the game too easy, even at the hardest difficulty. I shouldn't be able to conquer Great Britain as Ireland with barely any resistance at all in the first few rounds of the game at hard difficulty
