P51 Description
The P51 application is built by La Ruta del Clima thanks to the collaboration of NEXT, its objective is to generate information and knowledge about the effects of climate change from communities on various issues such as infrastructure, changes in the territory, effects on human rights, loss of species and territory, among others.
Damage and loss respond to the negative outcome or consequences of Climate Change that have exceeded the limits of adaptation.Currently, many communities in developing countries have to live with these consequences and are not visible in decision-making spaces due to the lack of information and ignorance of these consequences in the daily lives of many people.
It is for this reason that through this tool you can participate in the collection and recording of data that will help to demonstrate and modify the responses of various sectors such as planning, risk management and political spaces in the face of climate change.
The greatest importance of using the application is that the first line of information gathering is you as users, who live daily the damages and losses in your communities and for this reason it is defined as a citizen science tool. This is how the collection of this information allows, through the analysis of the various reports, to define actions and repairs that respond to the communities.
The interactive App and the user community run on the SPOTTERON Citizen Science platform on www.spotteron.app.
