Pison EXPLORE Description
The Pantheon application is a mobile application that allows researchers to collect and visualize a wide array of health and wellness data using Pison’s wearable devices. The application provides a streamlined, flexible, and robust data collection experience.
A Single Platform to Collect and Visualize Health and Wellness Data
Pison’s wearables with Pantheon revolutionize the way you conduct scientific research, providing a single platform to easily collect health and wellness data from study participants.
Pison’s wearables are lightweight, non-invasive, and passive wearable devices that include multiple sensors:
- Electroneurography (ENG) - Pison’s AI-enhanced, electromyography sensor measures electrical activity generated by the nervous system to stimulate muscle movement; measures cognitive performance metrics related to reaction time
- Photoplethysmography (PPG) - measures pulse rate and the oxygen saturation level (SpO2) of blood
- Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) - measures acceleration, orientation, angular rates, and other gravitational forces.
- Electrodermal Activity (EDA) - measures the electrical conductivity of skin related to stress
- Skin temperature
- Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) - measures the electrical signals from the heart
- Ambient light - used to better understand the light intensity in the environment
Pantheon enables researchers to collect data from any or all of these sensors and to access raw and filtered views of data in realtime.
Research Uses
- Cognitive evaluations, including evaluation of impairment from traumatic brain injury, drugs/alcohol use, fatigue, aging, or neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s Disease or Parkinson’s Disease.
- Sleep studies
- Monitoring neurological disease, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy
- Early detection of pre-symptomatic patients
- Continuous, remote monitoring of diagnosed patients to track disease progression and treatment efficacy
- Clinical trials
Benefits
- High Fidelity Measurements - Signal quality and performance equivalent to research-grade systems
- Continuous Monitoring
- Remote Monitoring - Track disease progression and treatment efficacy without requiring in-person visits
- Streamlined Data Collection - Supports custom workflows and event tagging to accelerate analysis
- Flexibility - Supports a variety of research initiatives, data collection protocols, and hardware/mobile operating systems
Key Features of Pantheon:
- Seamless Device Integration: Connects with Pison devices to collect ENG data based on neural signals from the peripheral nervous system.
- Robust and Accurate Data Collection: Supports lab streaming layer (LSL) for synchronization across multiple hardware ecosystems
- Advanced Protocol Management: Comes with preset protocols and enables custom creations for diverse study requirements.
- Participant Tracking: Conduct longitudinal studies by collecting data from participants across multiple sessions
- Quality Control Measures: Automated checks ensure data and device integrity, enhancing reliability.
- Efficient Data Management: Offers streamlined session management and automatic data uploading for optimal convenience. View uploaded data in the Pantheon web dashboard for more detailed analyses or download raw data for offline analysis.
- Streamlined Workflows & Support: Designed with you in mind, featuring extensive onboarding materials and support
