PlayUnit Trial Description
Offline Folder Music Player, using SD Card or USB flash drive (OTG). Uses Android's Recycleview display control, an improved List control, for the most displayable lines of Song Names, and the fastest method to traverse the whole list. Designed with ergonomics in mind (Simple interface with few, large buttons), control locking for actual use in the real world. The buttons are multifunctional, with logical and intuitive design, while keeping the display area smaller. For example, pressing the "Stay/Go" button causes the whole song to be played when sampling, while holding it down for a second causes a skip to the next song. Fewest keystrokes possible: tightest UI (user interface). Uses all of Android's latest Audio Hardware and the latest Exoplayer Music player software. Display elements are configurable. Play lengths are adjustable. Playlists can be added to by two different ways. Can randomly sample songs (Shuffle by artist or albums) for settable duration, to enjoy and scan, then play the whole current song with one keypress.
One of the main benefits of having your own music is not being forced to listen to the whole song. I prefer 40 seconds of each song to be played, and find that I can enjoy that duration of any song, and if you have a lot of music it becomes apparent that there's a lot of mediocre music. If one song catches your fancy then one keypress of "Stay/Go" plays the whole song. If you change your mind, just hold the same button down and the player will resume its selections. Simple and accessible one touch Artist, Album, and Song display.
Add any playing song to any Playlist with menu press. Or can add
whole Albums, or even Artists with all albums and songs easily. Can shuffle all the albums and songs of one artist. Can shuffle all songs of all Artists. Can play any Album's songs sequentially. Displays album covers. Calls up your equalizer by menu. Can reorder songs in Playlist album. Easy to set Music file locations (useful if your music files are not organized).
Music list Text Height is settable. You can show more of your music with a small text size or make it easier to select Artist, Album, or Song with a larger size. Opening an artist's albums is one keypress, then open songs of that album with another keypress. The one scroll bar serves for volume, song progress, and position in the artist list.
No Ads, one time payment only. No genres, no lyrics.
