PNSA Description
The Nossa Senhora da Assunção Church in Conjunto Itatiaia, which would become the headquarters of the Parish of the same name, was designed in the early 1980s by the Italian priest Sérgio Foglia. At that time and since the founding of the neighborhood, in 1978, Catholic celebrations took place in homes or at the Urban Social Center and catechesis classes took place at Colégio Estadual Waldemar Mundim. Today led by Father Marcos Rogério de Oliveira, better known as Father Marcos, was born in the city of Mara Rosa, in the State of Goiás, on March 7, 1976, into a very religious family. Son of farmer João das Graças de Oliveira, and pedagogue Elza Victor de Oliveira, as well as brother of teacher Kezia Regina de Oliveira and veterinarian Fabiano Victor de Oliveira.
