QuickPrice is a mobile application that transforms your smartphone into a barcode reader. It leverages the ZXing library for barcode decoding and the Tesseract4Android API for Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This application is designed to streamline the process of scanning barcodes, associating prices, managing product data, and recognizing text from product images. It serves as an efficient tool for inventory management, price checking, data organization, and text recognition from product images.
The app offers a writing mode (Scan to write) for initial setup, where you can scan a barcode and associate a price with the product. After scanning the barcode, you will be prompted to input the product's price. This data will be saved and can be used later in reading mode. In reading mode (Scan to read), you can scan a barcode and retrieve the associated product price. If the barcode has been previously scanned and recorded in writing mode, the app will display the associated price and other information added using the long press data or the OCR feature.
