RÁDIO 93FM Description
Since May 1992 on the market, 93 FM has been bringing the best of contemporary Christian music. The radio went on air at midnight on May 25th and over the years it established itself in the gospel segment.
In 1994, the station changed its address. It went from Rua dos Artistas, in Vila Isabel, to Rua Gothenburg, São Cristóvão. In 1997, the radio reformulated its transmission system and became one of the pioneers in the digital system.
In 20 years, events with great public mobilization became successes and consolidated themselves as a brand for the broadcaster. We held Canta Brasil, Rio and Zona Sul (bringing together hundreds of thousands of people); Praise; Gospel Sound; and live broadcasts of the Book Biennial, Marches for Jesus and special programs held outside the studio.
According to consolidated data from IBOPE, 93FM is among the 5 most listened to radio stations in Rio, reaching 1st place at specific times in recent years. An audience that grows every day, and has been reinforced with the repeater antenna, which now takes the signal throughout the west zone, with the quality that our listeners deserve.
93FM stands out for its 24-hour gospel programming, without neglecting its commitment to social, information and the satisfaction of our listeners and advertisers. We are a transformative vehicle for ideals, opinions and we know the role we have in mass mobilization. Therefore, over the 20 years, we have developed projects in all sectors of our production with the aim of not only entertaining, but also educating, raising awareness and helping.
