Relevamiento Vial - DNV Description
Survey of the road inventory by georeferencing (only for DNV users).
1. It has a linear distance measurement tool that allows, for example, to measure the length of a bridge.
2. Generates plain text files with all the collected information, which can be downloaded from the mobile and edited with Microsoft Excel.
3. You can send the collected information to the Highway Server, provided you have registered with the National Highway username and password.
4. In all surveys you can take photographs, which are incorporated into the data collected. You can also view them in the application, as well as all the data collected.
5. On the Map you will be able to view the icons of each survey, you will also be able to drag and drop any icon that you need to correct its location, or delete it, if you wish.
6. You will be able to reload surveys of routes between stations in order to be able to survey an already surveyed inventory again. In this functionality, the Proximity Assistant is useful, which will tell you, depending on how you have configured the warning distance, when you are close to an event.
7. On the About... screen you will find in its menu, a demonstration video of the application, and you will be able to view and download the user reference manual.
8. Request for location permission at all times:
It is only used, if the user activates it, for the event proximity assistant on the MAP screen, to receive notifications with the screen off.
The user turns this functionality on/off, and the background location is permanently disabled when closing the MAP screen. All app location is disabled upon termination of the app.
