Retro Drive is a driving game with a cool retro 80s vibe. The style and feel of the game derives from the Retro Wave aesthetic, referencing iconic elements such as neon glows, muscle cars, speedsters and of course 80s references. The gameplay involves driving through Retropolis, overcoming various challenges, all to an unforgettable Synthwave soundtrack.

Developed by a small team of indie devs after 2 years of evenings and weekends, among with creative individuals that had a strong passion to make games. The devs being a massive synth/retro wave fans themselves, decided they wanted this to be a homage to the Synthwave/ Retrowave genre.

Everything looks pretty cool. graphics,music and visuals are amazing, but the car controls are bad, it would be better if we can adjust the sensitivity ,i know that if the sensitivity is high it will ruin the retro vibe but try to make it work somehow without ruining the vibe, and also please show a warning signal if I'm going in the opposite direction of the race.

Painful. I can't go five seconds in this game without crashing into a wall. The steering is way too lose and aggressive, everytime I use the turbo the camera turns away from the car and then the car is suddenly on its side, the rewinding mechanic doesn't make it any less annoying. But I will admit the game has beautiful retro visuals and I love the delorean looking car the game gives you. This game has alot of potential.

Mobile/indie cousin of Outdrive. Original syntwave music, relaxing synthwave views and visuals with thrilling story. Points that could be developed may be the controlling of the car as it's too stiff, delayed response, and unergonomic to use the brakes and boost. Different driving mechanics in different cars would be good as well, like acceleration, speed and handling. I must also add the fact that the only factor that keep me playing despite overwhelming gameplay is the story.
