Rover Sensors Description
R.O.V.E.R is a prototype rover, with different sensors on it. These sensors are useful to know if the planet is habitable or not outside the lab where the astronaut lives. The sensors send the data they measure in real time to a database, allocating them to a mission, based on the time they were sent. I can add, change and remove missions via the database. So, in the app, you select the mission you want to see the data from, and you can see the data in an interactive chart. In mission details, you can see the route of the rover, which is measured from the GPS sensor on the rover, in a map. It also significant that you can see information about the planet where the mission takes place, like if it is habitable or not and its standard data, in mission details. Here, if you click to the names of planet’s data, you are linked to a source to understand what this data means. You can also add him as a favorite planet! From the app’s navigation drawer (sidebar), you can go to our web page, answer my questionnaire, contact us, go to mission details and settings. The app is customizable to its colors and you can select if you want to see a quick launch notification or not. It is colorful, material designed and with zero bugs.
