RULApp Description
The Norm 17 aims to establish parameters that allow adapting working conditions to the psycho-physiological characteristics of workers, in order to provide maximum comfort, safety and efficient performance (NR 17.1,1990).
It is understood as psychophysiological features all knowledge concerning the functioning of the human being. Some psycho-physiological characteristics of the human being (MANUAL NR 17, 2002):
• Prefer freedom to choose your stance, depending on the requirements of the task and the state of your internal environment;
• Prefer alternately use all the body muscles and not just individual body segments;
• has sensory and motor capacities that operate within certain limits, which vary from one individual to another, and over time for the same individual;
Thus, this application aims to provide a support tool in ergonomic investigations of jobs where there are overloads reports in upper limbs. This application is based on RULA method developed by McAtamney, L. and Corlett, E.N. (1993) RULA: The survey method for the investigation of upper limb work-related disorders.
