The TrifelsErlebnisWeg takes you on the way from medieval Annweiler to Trifels Castle. The town of Annweiler am Trifels below the castle in the middle of the Palatinate Forest is your ideal starting point for this.
A total of 18 game and knowledge stations await you along the 3.6 km long hiking trail with the monk symbol, which you can discover with the help of the app. You will learn something about life in the Middle Ages, about eating habits and how supplies were kept in the castle, about crafts, guilds and city rights in medieval Annweiler, about life in the monastery and the duties of knights. The siblings Clara and Johann tell about their lives a few hundred years ago in AR representation.
