Safety Alerts Messenger Description
SAM - Safety Alert Messenger follows police, fire and EMS communication in Austin and the surrounding area. The app listens and transcribes radio communications.
You can create an Alert using keywords. Whenever a communication occurs that contains those keywords, for example Accident MoPac or Shots fired, an Event is triggered and you receive a push notification. This notification contains a transcription of the actual communication as well as a link to the actual recording allowing you to listen to what was said. You can also browse all the monitored channels and read or listen to previous communications. Know what really is going on, not just what the news tells you.
