This application addresses two essential inquiries:
How much longer can engines remain operational while in use?
What will be the estimated cost of repairing engines when they are taken out of service?
MIDAS-SeverityTM offers users the capability to customize their analysis by selecting:
a) Specific aero engine types and models.
b) The geographical region where the engine is utilized or based.
c) Whether the engine is considered a new or mature asset.
d) The anticipated level of repair required during the next maintenance visit.
After these selections are made, the application provides the following calculated results:
a) The projected remaining operational life of the selected engine.
b) The estimated repair cost for the engine during its next maintenance visit (excluding LLPs).
