This app relies on your phone having an IR blaster rather than connecting via wifi which is how Sky Q controllers are connected. Remote for Sky UK works well and if your phone does have an IR blaster then you can control your TV volume too. The only complaint I have is there are ads. Sky Q Free Remote works too but doesn't have all the buttons.

Your phone needs to have a sensor to work thanks this app really helps when I don't have my remote to change the channel and when the battery is die in my remote and I can't find it
