Smarter Wecker Description
This app was developed for those who always get up at the same time and configure their alarm clock once and then no longer have to remember to turn it off on public holidays or during their vacation.
Features
• The alarm clock is configured once and is triggered by default Monday to Friday. In the settings, the period can be extended to Monday to Saturday.
• Google Calendar integration:
The logged in user's calendar is used to identify vacation days. It searches for a configurable keyword in the title – “vacation” by default.
Before configuration, you need to log in and synchronize the calendar.
The two calendars for next year will be automatically updated on December 31st.
If vacation days change, they can be synchronized again manually at any time.
The public Google calendar is used for the holidays in the country currently set on the smartphone.
For Germany, there is also an additional filter for public holidays for the federal state selected in the settings.
• The system standard serves as the ringtone. A selection is possible in the settings.
• A notification on the lock screen can be used to turn off the alarm or set it to snooze for 10 or 30 minutes. Alternatively, the alarm can also be switched off using the stop button in the app. This opens when the notification is tapped.
• The next alarm can be skipped once using a button.
Important! Please read the instructions.
Hints
• Notifications (including on the lock screen) and auto-start of the app must be permitted in the operating system settings for the app.
• Additional settings must be made for the app on some manufacturers' devices so that the operating system does not close the app and thus delete the alarm from the system. To do this, please follow the steps for the respective manufacturer on https://dontkillmyapp.com/.
• The public Google Calendar for holidays must be integrated into the user's Google Calendar. This can be checked in the calendar app using the menu icon. The checkbox must be checked for “Holidays”.
Only for Germany: The federal state must first be selected in the settings before synchronization takes place.
• Additional settings must be made for the app on some manufacturers' devices so that the operating system does not close the app and thus delete the alarm from the system. To do this, please follow the steps for the respective manufacturer on https://dontkillmyapp.com/.
restrictions
• Multiple alarm clocks cannot be set.
