Comments about SmartHQ Android Version
Directions for Chef Connect feature are non-existent. Videos and manuals explain how it works between range and microwave, but no place shows where Chef Connect is on the range, making sincing impossible as instructed. Tells me to start by pressing button on range. There isn't one anywhere on touchscreen options. Emailed support, but no reply yet. Love the appliances, but hate when setup of all features isn't possible. We are a tech-savvy household, but instructions just aren't accurate.
Used the Scan to Cook feature for my Profile range. Since then I can't use the remote access at all. I've deleted the application and reinstalled. I've also deleted the appliance and reconnected to the app. Still says "Recipe cannot be edited remotely" for everything except turning the oven light on and off. I can't do anything! So frustrating. I wanted to use the "Baked Goods" feature to bake cookies, but I can't because you can only get to it through the app. Argh!
Edit: Phone restart resolved issues. Bumped up to four stars. It would be great to have energy usage for a longer period with summary bar graphs for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. Previous review: Slow to load anything. Fridge simply won't update on the home screen. Really doubting how useful this application will be for our family.
