Snap Pic Carousel Description
Snap Pic Carousel is an app with several uses for people who like to take pictures (with more features coming). You can take pictures on a timer, select what resolution you want the pictures to be, if you want to use a flash, how many pictures you want to take, and what format (JPG or PNG) you want the file saved in.
This app was designed to be used with a Bluetooth enabled turntable created by us at Eric’s Gear. With this turntable and app, you can take full 360 degree product pictures for your website or other online store just like the big box stores. With the turntable, you’ll be able to set how fast it rotates and which direction it turns. The rotation speed may determine how many times the turntable rotates, since it has a “soft start” and a “soft stop” feature to prevent things from falling over, liquids from spilling, as well being able to turn heavier objects.
With the “autosave” feature, you can easily take pictures of multiple products in a row, or disable “autosave” and you can preview the pics before they are saved to your device. Each time you start the picture taking process, a new folder is automatically created to keep your pictures separate and organized. Also, the pictures are numbered sequentially so you know exactly in what order they were taken.
Most of the features should be easy to understand, but we’ve included a help section in case anything is unclear. This help section also includes basic troubleshooting steps, in case there are any issues using the app.
You may have to fiddle with some of the settings to get things to work perfectly, since each phone has a different camera and processing speed, which means that the resolution of the pictures and the speed at which the pictures can be taken will vary with every phone.
You can select where to save the pictures, which I suggest the “DCIM/Camera” folder, so you can easily find them when you move them to a computer. This allows you to save them to a cloud folder such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or something similar.
