Spring Bucks Description
Keeping track of your children's pocket money and allowances can be difficult, especially if they don't have an actual bank account! You as the parent may be left looking after their money and end up acting as the bank. If that is the case, how do you remember how much money they have and what they spent it on?
Spring Bucks is a way to help parents and guardians manage and keep track of their children's money.
The value of the money recorded in Spring Bucks is virtual money. It is not real money. It is a record of how much actual money the child has which you as the parents or guardians are holding for them and acting as their bank.
As parents or guardians, you can record all transactions that the child makes, for example, buying a soft drink, or getting paid for a chore.
Spring Bucks stores all data in a secure online database and can synchronize across devices. Parents or guardians can create accounts for their children who can then view their accounts if they have a device of their own. The children can also learn to manage their money and they will always know how much money they have.
Spring Bucks comes in a basic form which allows parents or guardians to do the following:
1. Add as many children as they would like. Each child will have one Bucks account.
2. Deposits and withdrawals can be made on that Bucks account. (remember this is all virtual money and you as the parent or guardian are acting as the bank)
3. Children can log in on their own device and see their account.
Unlocking the plus features will allow access to the following features:
1. Parents or guardians can add as many additional Bucks accounts as they would like for each child.
2. Children can add their own Bucks accounts.
3. Parents or guardians can set interest rates for each Bucks account and interest payments will be automatically paid on the first of every month based on the balance in the account at that time.
4. Parents or guardians can set an automatic allowance payment for each child (monthly, weekly or fortnightly).
5. Parents/guardians or children can divide the allowance so that it automatically splits into the various Bucks accounts when the allowance payment is made.
6. Inter account payments can be made by either the parents/guardians or the children
7. Payments to other family members can be made by the children.
The goal of Spring Bucks is to provide a tool for parents/guardians and children to help them manage pocket money and allowance payments, but also to act as an educational tool so that parents and guardians can teach their kids about saving, spending, giving, interest, compound interest and many other financial and life principles.
We hope that you enjoy using Spring Bucks!
