Starfighter Showdown Description
"Starfighter Showdown" is a PvP online combat shooting game featuring unique gameplay inspired by the pencil-flick war game (an analog game where pencils are knocked over on paper). Players select three space fighter units from their fleet and use simple flick operations to move and shoot, battling against other players matched online.
A direct hit in the center of an enemy unit can destroy it in one shot, and a moment's lapse can determine the outcome of the battle.
Despite the simple controls, the game demands calm responses and quick strategic thinking tailored to the battle conditions. Each unit has a special skill that can be used by filling up a gauge, and choosing the right moment to use this skill or strike the enemy before the skill is available is crucial to tactical gameplay.
As players earn Starmaps from battles, their owned space maps expand, unlocking items and new units. Continual battles increase the Starmaps more, enhancing the rank of rewards received. If no other players are found, rewards can also be earned by playing against the CPU.
The fighter units featured in the game are all inspired by famous historical fighters, such as Mustang and Kittyhawk. Each unit has unique parameters and special skills, adding distinctiveness. Modules can be attached to enhance the units, and through leveling up and modifications, players can develop their favorite fighters, adding a depth of gameplay.
