This app is developed to enable structural engineering analysis to be carried out for beams and portal frames. As an example, for calculating forces in a beam, the load is input as either a uniform distributed load, non-uniform distributed load, point load, and etc. depending on the beam configuration input. The forces such as reactions, shear, bending moment, and deflection are then calculated and shown as output. It is calculated to produce maximum values and also values at specific location along a beam. The input from user required includes beam span length, loads, Modulus of Elasticity E, Moment of Inertia I, and distance x along beam. Similarly, for portal frames user is required to input values such as loads, frame width, eave height, rafter height, roof slope, and moment of inertia of members. The forces such as reactions, shear, and bending moment are then calculated and shown as output.
