Be quick to find the cave! From there you'll have access to a variety of tools and weapons to craft and make use of which will increase your chances of survival tenfold as hunger becomes the razored edge path of life you walk.
Cliff faces make for a great way to catch a wild Elk. Death from above by club wielding survivalist will make for a great story back home if you ever make it that far.
