Accurate Predictions
This app was written using well-known tidal prediction algorithms and publicly available location data. It can be expected to match very closely to federally-published tide tables.
Designed for On The Spot Use
The tidal status presentation gives an immediate snapshot of the tide or current status, as well as a list of highs and lows. The display can be refreshed at any time to update this status. This app is designed for use while actively out and about along the waterfront.
200 Year Calendar
In addition to today's tides, a date picker is available to choose any date from 1901 to 2100.

Favorites
The selected station can be added to a set of 8 favorites. These can be accessed by a down-swipe.
Sun and Moon Info. - There is available sun and moon status for the presented date. There are three choices for how much to display. The "Full Sun and Moon Info" displays rise, set, and transit times, time lines aligned with the daily graph to show them, and moon phase and illumination. The "Daylight Shading" displays a highlighted section on the graph to indicate daylight hours. The "None" removes all sun and moon information. The graph size is reduced for the "Full" option, to allow room sun and moon info. To get the largest graph, select either Daylight Shading or None,
Mark Height - You can mark any given tide height on the graph. The height line is drawn, along with the times the tide crosses this line. Examples boat launching, clam digging, walking around obstacles such as bulkheads.
About Gestures - provides a reminder from the left, right, and down swipes.
Left is next day, Right is prior day, Down is shortcuts list.
Overlay Waveform - For those interested, you can show two waveforms to allow you to compare how similar or different are two locations. First you run one of the stations you want to compare. Then you select Overlay ON. Then you run the other station you want to compare. Both will be displayed. Later, turn off Overlay and hit the refresh button to clean up the display. This is also interesting to compare the tide and current waveform for nearby stations. You can see how the current flow adjusts the tide levels.
