Tnb Research Sdn. Bhd., better known as tnb research, has been the in-house solution provider for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) since 1993. Situated in Kajang, Selangor, the research & development (R&D) Centre, provides a centralized, one-stop center for technical solutions and innovation.
Streams of research under various research and development projects have been introduced to our parent company, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). These solutions have contributed towards improving the overall operational performance of the company in areas such as power plant unplanned outage rate (UOR), transmission system minutes, distribution system average interruption duration index (SAIDI) and many others.
While continuing the efforts on operational improvement initiatives in TNB, tnb research is now are embarking on various research and development in positioning TNB to be an early adopters of promising technologies.
