TTN Gateway Description
There are two ways to get data of TTN Gateways.
1. On the log in screen for first time users you need to register. Select the register option.
1.1 Enter your email and desired password (more than 6 characters) and select ‘Register’. We will send you a conformation email. You need to confirm first before you will be able to log in.
2. Select 'Gateway Radius Data' you will be directed to a search page. You will need to enter a few parameters for the search argument from where you require gateway data.
2.1 GPS data are enter in degrees for the latitude and longitude
2.2 The radius around the above entered GPS location, LoRaWAN in urban areas can be a few 110’s of meters to km in rural areas.
2.3 The ‘Active in last the last days’ are to exclude gateway that are still registered but have been off line for a certain amount of time. Generally active users fix gateway within a few day, if it have been off line for a long time the possibility exist that the user will not fix it.
2.4 The ‘netID’ are the network that gateways are registered on. For TTN/TTI this is – 000013 – for other user this could be different, please refer to your registration if you are not sure.
2.5 The ‘tenantID’ are the ID of the tenant. For TTN V3 gateways it is ‘ttn’ for V2 gateways are ‘ttnv2’. All the other tenants have their own, you need to refer to your registration.
2.6 Select ‘Get Gateway data’, a map will popup displaying all the gateway with in you search argument.
2.7 If you select the desired gateway a popup will pop with gateway details.
2.8 Tap on the pop up container and you will now see the direction and azimuth from your current location to the gateway. Please remember this does not guarantee coverage, this is only indicative to the distant and direction to the gateway.
3. Select 'Gateway Azimuth and Distance' you will be directed to a search page. You will need to enter a few parameters for the search argument for the desired gateway.
3.1 Enter the "Gateway ID'
3.2 The ‘netID’ are the network that gateways are registered on. For TTN/TTI this is – 000013 – for other user this could be different, please refer to your registration if you are not sure.
3.3 The ‘tenantID’ are the ID of the tenant. For TTN V3 gateways it is ‘ttn’ for V2 gateways are ‘ttnv2’. All the other tenants have their own, you need to refer to your registration.
3.4 Select 'Gateway Data' you will see now the direction and azimuth from your current location to the gateway. Please remember this does not guarantee coverage, this is only indicative to the distant and direction to the gateway.
4. There are also options to for 'Forgotten Password', select it and you will be able to enter your email and we will send you an email that you can update your password.
