Filtered and kosher videos to keep a clean brain and a pure and happy heart
Over time, demand also rose from the general public, who wish to protect themselves and in particular their children from the variety of problematic content available on the Internet, and in particular from those that "pop up" on their own without being invited.
That's why we decided to establish the Glativ system - a platform that provides access to filtered video, with strict content limits, to the Torah and mitzvot observant public.
The hundreds of thousands of videos available for viewing on GlaYouTube are divided into categories and sub-categories, according to their topics, in order to make it easier to navigate the content areas and easily reach the content that interests you.
In the Glativ system there are several levels and options of content filtering:
1. Every video that is inserted into the Glativ system is manually checked that it indeed matches Glativ's kosher standards. Videos that lack modesty, or that show violence for the sake of it, clowning or denigration of the saints of Israel, words of controversy or hatred - have no place on Glativ at all.
2. The content categories intended for women are not presented to men at all and only women can view them.
3. Every user can define whether he wants to be shown videos in which women are seen in modest clothing.
4. Each user can define whether he allows the presentation of content from non-religious producers.
5. Each user can block for himself the presentation of specific videos that he does not want, a "black list" of videos.
In addition, since it is impossible to bar without explanation, and it is possible that sometimes problematic content is overlooked and entered into the system by mistake, any (registered) user has the option to report any content problem he encounters.
Each report is checked and handled carefully. A video found not to be suitable for Glativ's fences will be removed. Sometimes, depending on the type of report, the video will remain in the system and will only be classified differently for the information of the users. In any case, it is possible for each user to block for himself the presentation of any video he does not want.
It will be clarified that the Glativ system is a system for making content accessible only. It does not produce the content presented in it and is not responsible for the content of the videos, their reliability, their up-to-dateness and their possible effect on viewers.
Any use of the system is the sole responsibility of the user, or of his parents (if the user is a minor).
