Tuberculus Description
The game revolves around the journey of a white blood cell, the player, in his fight against the invasive Bacillus-type bacteria associated with tuberculosis. Through a series of frantic battles, demonstrating a representation of the effects that tuberculosis can cause on the human body, the affected organs and how the effect of medicines distributed free of charge by the SUS increase the body's strength to defeat bacteria and that the misuse of these medications end up causing the bacteria to strengthen.
In the home menu, the player has access to his inventory of permanent items, the patient's medication inventory and the skill tree.
When the player starts a run during which he can obtain temporary and permanent items, the temporary items remain with the player until the end of the run and the permanent ones go to his inventory. The run ends when the player dies or defeats all enemies. If the player leaves in the middle of the game, the permanent items he collected will not be saved.
The game takes place in the human body in the organs that are affected by tuberculosis and ends with the hero in the mouth being expelled in a sigh of relief.
The different scenarios refer to different types of tuberculosis, they are presented randomly, they are the lungs, mouth, bone, kidneys and eyes.
Each one has variations in gameplay mechanics and are characterized in a way that resembles the organs in real life.
