Turtlecast Podcast Player Description
Turtlecast does not have a server. It is designed to render the actual RSS feed the podcast is sending and display all the relevant information to you. For instance, it displays individual episode artwork, a feature missing from many common podcast players. Turtlecast supports streaming, downloading, automatic downloading, filtering, syncing, etc. It uses modern, Material designs patterns, with beautifully rendered episode pages. It also has dark mode and supports importing your entire library via OPML or an RSS feed in your clipboard. The app is in active development and feedback is welcome and appreciated.
Benefits versus most podcast players:
- No server or middleman between you and the feed. Whenever a feed updates you get it right away.
- Displays information other podcast players sometimes hide such as episode artwork, categories, etc.
