Twitter Easy Search Description
[IMPORTANT NOTICE] Due to a bug or specification change in Twitter (X), some search options are currently unavailable.
For example, you will be able to do this.
- Search quote tweets from your account. You can find an account that interests you.
- Search only tweets of videos, images, and GIFs, including cat and dog.
- If you search on Twitter normally, even though the tweet does not contain the keyword, the one included in the user name is also displayed. You can also exclude user names.
- You can search tweets containing the keyword "delicious" within 1km from where you are. You may be able to find a new restaurant.
- When you want to find out who is tweeting about your favorite entertainer, but you don't need a reply, you can exclude the reply.
Twitter has many useful search options. However, to master them, you need to remember complicated options.
For example, if you want to know only tweets that contain the keyword "cat" and contain more than 100 Likes images, videos, or GIFs, you need to search with "cat min_faves: 100 filter: media". However, even though the keyword "cat" is not included in tweets, the user name containing "cat" may appear in the search results. In this application, you can also exclude the user name from the search results. What's more, you don't need to remember each option.
The currently searchable categories are:
- Words (AND, OR, NOT, ...etc)
- Hashtag
- Account (Quote retweet, From, To, ...etc)
- Engagement (Likes, Retweets, Replies)
- Time
- Location
- Media (images, videos, GIFs, ...etc)
- Pole
- Link
- Twee clients (Instagram, iPhone, ...etc)
- Positive / Negative search
You can search with your favorite Twitter client. Please check the settings of the default app linked to Twitter from "Apps and notifications"> "Default apps"> "Opening links" in the Android settings.
* Due to the specifications of Twitter, you can only search from "Top" in the Twitter app (even if you select "Latest", "People", "Photos", or "Videos", it will be searched as "Top"). If you search with a web browser, it will be selected correctly.
You can add your favorite search options to your favorites. You can always quickly search from your favorites. Since the history remains, it is possible to search again for the previously searched content.
