UAI fm is a community radio that has been on air since 2013. It belongs to the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Cultural and Beneficent Community Association, based in Monte Carmelo, Minas Gerais. Aware of its mission, the association aims to rescue country music and the native country folk, as a legitimate cultural expression of the people of Minas Gerais. Its programming is aimed at disseminating the great classics of country music, so that its listeners, especially young people, can have contact with the first successful country duos and, at this point, special programming space is dedicated to viola fashion. However, its programming also fulfills its role of collaborating with the community in its demands for information, such as public service notices, local news, in collaboration with all institutions that need any notice of public interest.
