Velograph II Description
Ultrasonic flaw detector Velograph II (Velograf 2) is designed to search for discontinuities and homogeneity of the material and determine their coordinates in products made of metals and plastics. The device allows you to control welds, measure the thickness of the walls of products, conduct a search for places of corrosion, cracks, internal delaminations and other defects.
It consists of an electronic unit and a PDA connected via a wireless bluetooth interface. As a PDA can be a device with the operating system Android 4.0 and above, with a screen diagonal of at least 4.7 inches, equipped with bluetooth.
The basic package includes a tablet PDA with a diagonal of 7 inches.
The full functionality of the software is achieved after connecting to the included electronic unit, for which you need to press the “On” button and in the opened window select the associated electronic unit (if necessary, select another button “Search”).
Features of program management:
- a single click on a numeric parameter or its signature makes the parameter active
- to enter values of active numeric parameters, click them again
- to change the numerical parameters, it is convenient to use the "slider", single clicks on which change the active parameter to the minimum step, and holding changes the parameter continuously (the faster the further the "slider" is rejected from the middle)
- to change the number of gates or bind them to the gain, double-click on the active gate switch - this opens the corresponding menu
- gates and points of ACG and ARC curves can be dragged across the scanning screen, gates can also be stretched
- when you click on the scale, the menu for selecting its display units opens
- individual settings are opened when you click on the button in the upper right corner of the screen
