What's That Call? Description
Aimed at nature enthusiasts, ‘What’s That Call’ is an interactive learning game focusing on the rich diversity of animal calls heard across India.
Do you hear birds singing outside your house and often wonder which bird it is, and what it looks like? Did you know there are frogs and insects in your backyards that use sounds to “speak” amongst themselves? Play this fun and easy game to learn and memorize sounds of animals from your backyard! The next time you hear a bird call you will identify it right away, even if you are unable to spot it in the tree!
App features:
Rich library of clear audio clips and crisp photos:
Calls of 100+ species of birds
Basic information about the animal such as description and common behaviours that can help you find the animal in real life
In-built links to each animal species to discover more information
Daily updated call of the day: Listen to a new animal every day.
Two unique modes of gameplay.
Curated list of animals that can be filtered by region of your choice.
Pick your own difficulty level: From absolute beginners to experienced bird-enthusiasts, we have something for everyone! The bird database includes commonly found birds that are easy to identify for players who want to start from scratch, and trains you to identify rarer birds with just their sounds.
Keep playing and learning new animal calls to beat your own highscores.
Download once and continue using offline. Don’t let a poor internet connection stop the fun and learning!
