How many times have you searched for an object and you have not found it
(at least in the moment in which you needed !!) why did you forget where you
put it?
Attention!! The Object should not be interpreted only as something concrete
or tangible; the Object is anything we fear we won't find or that we risk not
remembering.
This application serves precisely to solve these problems.
The fields of application range from finding precious objects, materially or
emotionally, to the garments of the season previous, to user profiles and
passwords with which to access websites on which we registered, to the PINs or identification codes of the various bank accounts, receipts that you often need to keep for validate the guarantee of a product.
In between you can put any other what comes to your mind.
To each object important to you you will associate a Name and the Place where it is you are about to keep (the Place can also be a virtual place);
Furthermore, optionally, you can combine a Photograph, Additional Notes that may be useful after some time and a Category to which they belong of the object (for example: precious objects, affective objects, etc. ..).
Places and Categories can be created at the time of creation of the Object
and can also be used for other objects.
The Places, Categories and Photos can be changed in each moment to allow you to track the changes that have occurred over time concerning the location of the object itself.
The objects can then be searched by filtering by Name, Place and Category.
A handy drop-down list updates as you type in the box text the name of the
Object and / or the Place and / or the Category allowing you to immediately
select what you are looking for; a bit like when you use a search engine like
Google and you are typing what you are looking for.
Then, by pressing the search button, a list of objects that are will appear
consistent with the search parameters you set. For example: if you have
typed in the "Bedroom" Location field you will be shown a list of all the
objects you previously surveyed and placed in the place "Bedroom".
By pressing on the single element of the list you can view the details
Object (Name, Place, Address of the place, Additional Notes, Category of
belonging and Photography).
There are also the Data Export and Data Import functions which are
particularly useful in the event that, for example, the device which the data
was stored should be replaced; in cases like this it will be enough to
install the application on the new device, activate the Data Import function
and, at the same time, on the old one device activate the Data export
function: in a few seconds data and any associated photographs will be
transferred to the new one device.
The whole procedure is protected by a PIN access that can be changed whenever you want; also, to avoid that we can forgetting the PIN it is foreseen that, when creating or modifying the PIN you can send a reminder, by e-mail, so that it remains track over time and the information is stored on a device other than the one on which you are running the application.
