Where Shadows Slumber is a mobile adventure puzzle game that takes place in a world that has been plunged into darkness. You will guide Obe, an old man who discovers a mysterious lantern in the forest, on one last journey.

The only tools at your disposal are your wits and the chaotic nature of the universe. Anything that is not touched by light has the freedom to change. This governing principle will be your guide in the darkness, but also your undoing. After all, if you are not touched by the light, you have the freedom to change as well.

Comments about Where Shadows Slumber Android Version
Cons: 1, controls can be a bit janky, 2, logic of shadows can be inconsistent (eg, walking around a column for the second time sometimes reverts the scene to the original layout while sometimes it results in a third layout, and there isn't a clear way to know which is which), 3, cutscenes can't be skipped on a case-by-case basis. Pros: it's an interesting concept, I appreciate the effort, and though they're not my cup of tea, the cutscenes are 'non traditional' and, again, I appreciate that
This is a neat little puzzle game, I am around the aquaducts and I am really liking the cutscenes so far, the animation of the protagonist in particular is very well done. The puzzles are engaging and interesting. I specifically like how you are uncovering the levels as you move through them, I like surprises. The controls so far are fine but it can be a little awkward to control the character, this becomes an issue when timing is important. Overall, its a cool and fun game, give it a chance.
Overall a pretty good puzzle game. As the developers have stated in their blog, the game was inspired by Monument Valley, and it definitely shows, from the level design to the graphics. While some of the puzzles are just a matter of trying out different combinations of states, some are really inspired, like Labyrinth (level 5-5), Blind (6-2), and the last level, Gates (7-5). Unfortunately, I could not give the full 5 stars. For me, there's no question that Monument Valley deserves the perfect rating for its unparalleled sublime beauty, but Where Shadows Slumber just misses the mark. The story kind of reminds me of the game Journey, but it leaves too many questions for comfort, even setting aside the brutality of it. Sometimes the game's control is a bit too fiddly where when I am trying to manipulate a level mechanism but instead end up moving Obe. Also, the game is a bit buggy wherein the display remains black when I start a new level or the sounds disappear, necessitating that I restart the game. (I have already mentioned this buggy behavior in my feedback of the beta version.)
