WiFiWorkZone Description
WiFiWorkZone App was created to save Wi-Fi energy waste, and help reduce intense Wi-Fi exposure. WiFiWorkZone shows people standard operational range for normal Wi-Fi use.
Using standard bandwidth of 20Mhz, typical Wi-Fi operations do not require RSSI signals in excess of -70dBm. To keep thing simple and easy to understand WiFiWorkZone uses the range -70dBm to circa -100dBm.
Wi-Fi signals of -30dBm and -40dBm, contribute to Wi-Fi network congestion which reduces network performance, and wastes wireless spectrum. To optimize wireless energy usage, it is recommended to use operational WiFi signal levels. Not intense Wi-Fi signals.
WiFiWorkZone contains 3 levels of audio indicators at -50dBm, -40dBm & -30dBm.
-50dBm represents a Pulsed Signal Intensity (PSI) of 100.
-40dBm represents a Pulsed Signal Intensity (PSI) of 1000.
-30dBm represents a Pulsed Signal Intensity (PSI) of 10000.
People who want to use their own audio, set their own -dBm warning limits and customize the App interface can purchase the Pro version - WiFiWorkZone Pro - for $5.99
