WordSweeper - Minesweeper Game Description
Are you down for a challenge?
Introducing WordSweeper. With a whole new level of complexity.
Classic Minesweeper gets old really fast so we added a new dimension to the game. Numbers are too easy so we chose to be using words!
Have you heard of the games Wordle and Semantle? These are two of the most popular word games out there. One of them was even featured by the New York Times. WordSweeper brings the same charectaristics that such games have, and mix them really well with the good old minesweeper game.
The goal in WordSweeper simple. Don't press the "bomb" word. Each round a random word is chosen. Your goal is to flag all the locations where it might exist using a long press.
Example:
The exploding word is "Saturday"
Related Words (ex. "Sunday") - have three or more bombs in the 8 tiles surrounding them.
Partially Related Words (ex. "September") - two bombs
Non Related Words (ex. "Laundry") - one bomb
Sometimes the English words that our algorithm chooses are not commonly known. For that you will be able to press them once the round is over, and see their translation.
Good luck.
