Yasser Al-Dosari is one of the most famous preachers and reciters of the Holy Quran in Saudi Arabia and in the Arab and Muslim world. Yasser Al-Dosari is the Imam and preacher of Al-Dakhil Mosque in Riyadh and the Secretary General of Prince Sultan University for Holy Quran Memorization in the Saudi Air Defense Forces. Yasser was born in Al-Kharj region, this region is southeast of Riyadh.
Yasser Al Dosari gained in-depth knowledge by obtaining a bachelor's degree in Islamic studies from the Faculty of Jurisprudence of Imam Muhammad bin Saud University in 1424 AH. Then, Al Dossari obtained a master's degree and then a doctorate in comparative law at the Higher Institute of Justice of the same university.
Yasser Al-Dosari was a student of many scholars and masters, including the late Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Jibreen, Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh (Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia), Dr. Saleh bin Humaid (chairman of the High Council of Justice), Sheikh Saad bin Nasser Al-Shathri (member of the Council of Great Scholars), and others.
Yasser Al Dosari memorized the Holy Quran at the age of 15 and distinguished himself with his remarkable recitation and haunting voice. His mastery and the softness of his voice were recognized by the eminent sheikhs who knew him, including Sheikh Bakri Al-Tarabishi, holding the highest chain of transmission in the world, and Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhdar, the sheikh reciters from Medina. As a result, Sheikh Al-Dosari recorded several audios during Ramadan night prayers.
