Zoo Guide Houston app for the Houston Zoo allows visitors to know their location within the place using GPS or Mobile Network to access the following services:
- Current Location : Displays real time current location of the user. The map will always update your current location and display it on the Zoo map while you are standing or walking in the zoo and also when you located outside the zoo park.
- Points of Interest Search: Allows to know the location of various points of interest as Mammals, Birds and Reptiles, Invertebrates, Fishes & Amphibians. The map provides you the option to search for any animal and know its exact location in the zoo for Houston. You would be prompted if you wish to see the direction to that particular animal enclosure once you search for an animal.
- Route: Gives the position of the user located in the Zoo at Houston, the application is able to show the turn by turn navigation directions to all the animal enclosures from the current location of the user.
