On each turn, you are offered a choice of cards, each hiding a number of steps you'll move forward. After selecting a card and making your move, it's your opponent's turn, and they could reach the finish line before you. You must prevent this, or you'll lose. Each card can have a value ranging from -5 to +5. Negative values are considered unlucky and don't move you forward. However, very low values are critically unlucky and might give your opponent an advantage by pushing you back.
