His talent caught the attention of a renowned pilot-artist, who challenged Joe to a friendly competition for the title of "Best Local Artist of the Three Windmills." Accepting the challenge, Joe created his finest artwork yet and earned the well-deserved title. However, he aimed higher—to become the country's top pilot-artist. To achieve that, he first needed to become the best artist in his state.
