How to Play:

Rummy is a game of skill and strategy that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to be the first player to dispose of all the cards in your hand by forming valid sets and sequences.

Basic Rules:

Deck: A standard deck of 52 cards is used. Jokers may also be included as wild cards.

Dealing: Players are dealt a set number of cards depending on the variant being played. Typically, each player is dealt 10 cards in a 2-player game, 7 cards in a 3 or 4-player game, and 6 cards in a 5 or 6-player game.

Objective: The goal of Rummy is to form valid sets and sequences. A set consists of 3 or 4 cards of the same rank but different suits, while a sequence consists of 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit.

Turns: Players take turns to draw cards from the stock pile or discard pile and then discard a card to the discard pile. The game proceeds in a clockwise direction.

Going Out: Once a player has formed valid sets and/or sequences in their hand, they may declare "Rummy" and lay down their cards to end the game. To go out, a player must have at least one valid set or sequence in their hand.

Scoring: After a player goes out, the remaining players count the value of the cards left in their hand. Face cards are worth 10 points, aces are worth 1 point, and numbered cards are worth their face value. The player who went out earns zero points for that round, while the remaining players score points based on the cards left in their hand.
