The power that this app has is incredible. If you only buy one app, this is it. The learning curve is there, sure, but it's worth figuring it out. I made an applet that allows me to quote things my friends say, and it's uploaded automatically to a Google drive database. "Exclusive" features on pixels/iphones/whatever become within reach on any android phone: flip to shhh, muting video calls by pressing the "pause" button on headphones... and far more. (I'm out of characters, but get this app!)
My issue is if I set a task to open Spotify and then set volume to level 9, it will do so, if I change my volume level and close Spotify then rerun the task, it will open Spotify, but my volume won't be set to level 9. If I restart tasker it will work again, but it's annoying when I'm trying to test out tasks I've created. It also lags HORRIBLY when I need to select an app (task thumbnail, need a task to open an app, etc) and my phone has 8 GB of RAM...
THE BEST APP! This is the best app to ever exist. You can make your phone do ANYTHING you want. If there's something you want your phone to do you can make it do it. Advanced things will need logical thinking so if you don't program don't expect to instantly make your phone do everything. But if you have a goal you can make it happen. I spend so much time making things in tasker. I have so many projects, tasks, and profiles. My phone without tasker is so different I will never go without tasker.
