In Tower of Fantasy, the human race has been compelled to relocate to Aida, an abundant and hospitable alien world, due to depleting resources and a shortage of energy. They watched the comet Mara and found it carried an unknown yet potent force known as "Omnium." They constructed the Omnium Tower to capture Mara, but the radiation from the tower caused a catastrophic event on their new homeworld.

The self-styled saviours known as the Heirs of Aida stated that Omnium was to blame for all catastrophes due to the impending advent of a new global order.
