Navigation view changed. Used to be like navigating a car but now the map only points in one direction making it harder to follow the trail at a glance. There is no way to save search parameters. I use the same search for most of my trail hunting because I hike with my dog. But every sing time I go back out to the main screen and want to search I have to enter in all the criteria all over again. It's a pain. The app no longer provides a nice description of each trail. Have to rely on reviews.
It was a great app for a long while. But completely removing the lifeline feature is real disappointment. I don't want to live share and social network my time outside. I just want some easy way to let friends and family know what trail I'm on and when I'm due back. This is the sole reason for my purchase of the all trails lifetime subscription a few years ago. Also while offline/out of cell service the app has gone to complete garbage. It used to be rudimentary at best before, now it's useless
Updates review to remove another star because of all the updates. The directions button is no longer intuitive. It randomly pauses hikes. The sort on the filter isn't sorting well at all. And the review count is no longer visible on the list of hikes screen (only when you click into it). Not sure what happened but was much better before. Still useful for hikes but thinking of finding a different app that has better sorting by popularity that actually will sort.
